Project Overview:

This London Project involved the transformation of three adjacent Victorian buildings into a distinctive hotel.
Horizon Architecture was tasked with creating an interior design that seamlessly blended Victorian elegance with contemporary aesthetics. The project focused on preserving iconic Victorian features, such as the classic staircases, while modernizing the bedrooms and other spaces. A key challenge was incorporating small kitchenettes into each bedroom within building regulation constraints. Utilizing detailed drawings and CGI (Computer-Generated Imagery), the team successfully created a design that satisfied both the client's vision and the architect's requirements for historical preservation, while optimizing room layouts to include kitchenettes. The style of the hotel was meant to be in contrast with an inflatable structure at the rear, and we cohordinated with an architect that designed it to allow a smooth flow throughout the whole 3 buildings and the inflatable structure.

4. Incorporating kitchenettes within building regulation restrictions (not too close to entrance doors)
5. Adjusting room sizes to accommodate kitchenettes
Outcome: Successful creation of a unique hotel that harmoniously combines Victorian and modern design elements, featuring bedrooms with kitchenettes, while meeting the approval of both client and architect and adhering to building regulations
